2025 Meter Reading Billing Calendar
The 2025 billing calendar for January to December is now available for download. This calendar outlines the scheduled submission dates for meter readings and the corresponding billing periods, providing a clear overview of the year's billing cycle.
It's important to note that many residents prefer to read their water and electricity meters themselves. This not only prevents estimates from being made on their accounts but also ensures the accuracy of their bills. Estimates are made for various reasons, such as when property access is difficult.
If you prefer to submit your readings electronically, you must follow the submission dates scheduled for your area. To determine your submission date, see your account for your portion number.
Once you have your portion number, refer to the billing calendar. Your portion number is under the portion heading and the submission dates for meter readings. Your submission date corresponds to your portion number on the calendar.
It is recommended that you submit your meter readings via e-Tshwane. You can also submit them at 012-358-9999 (press option 2, then option 4) or meterrecords@tshwane.gov.za.
